The suite was huge with amazing views and floor to ceiling bifold doors that opened up to overlook the ocean. Really beautiful. Staff were friendly and helpful. 5 minute walk to the "second beach" which has cryatal clear waters and is less overcrowded than the main beach. Only downfall was the "all inclusive" food... similar to what I would imagine prison food is like! However, you can eat out every night for relatively cheap with lots of great restaurants in easy walking distance. Would definitely stay again

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, we came as a large group so occupied 3 rooms, one of which was a penthouse suite. This gave us the opportunity to experience the hotel with everything it had to offer. This hotel definitely has a luxury feel to it and the staff were friendly. The playroom for kids in the lobby was a nice addition too, unfortunately I can't remember her name but the lovely lady taking care of the children there was so welcoming and really went above and beyond. The suite blew us away, it was amazing and if I was to stay at this hotel again I would definitely have to stay in a penthouse suite, which includes a jacuzzi overlooking sea views. The room is huge which also made it feel luxe.

Ella who works in kindergarten was extremely welcoming and very helpful to all the guests and spoke great English the spa managers also spoke English well and there is a masseuse from Bali who is bubbly and gives brilliant massage. The spa facilities are second to none and the rooms are very spacious and modern. The hotel is in a nice location right next to beach shops and restaurants and I although would definitely go back they were still doing building work on some areas of the hotel and the food was limited choice and not amazing so we ate out a few times plus they did not explain or do the a la carte options very well.

We had a lovely stay at Maril resort hotel. We travelled with our baby and it was splendid. The staffs are amazing and the food is great (although not always hot). They forgot to put the baby cot in our room when we arrived but a part from that everything was perfect. The juices are excellent. I strongly recommend this hotel ✨

Sometimes you have to rely on your gut feeling! The presentation of the hotel appealed to us directly before booking, despite few reviews on the net. But that was because the reopening was in the middle of the pandemic. Apart from the excellent area and the absolutely great and healthy climate, one can say with a clear conscience that the hotel is unique in Didem. We were warmly welcomed and rarely looked after so well. Our conclusion: absolutely recommended in all areas!

We’ve just got back from a week in the Maril. It’s advertised as a five star hotel but I think it falls just short of being the full 5 stars. The staff are very friendly but their English is limited. There are enough key staff members who speak English that it doesn’t cause any major issues. The pool area isn’t very large but there is a “private” beach that is just a 2 minute walk around the corner that serves soft drinks for free. The main food was very good but we found the À la carte meal a bit lacking and not very well advertised we were also told it would be 5 euros extra for it. It was fairly quite while we were there and I think they were just starting to gear up for the main season so all the little issues may be ironed out in time. The hotel has a few local bars near it but the main strip is an easy 10 minute walk into town. There is a rooftop bar/restaurant on the 11th floor which provides amazing views of both sunrise and sunset.
